Cafe “Volna”

Cafe “Volna” is conveniently located in Krasnoholmskaya embankment, just 5 minutes walking from Taganskaya (radial) metro station opposite the Moscow International Music House and Swissotel “Krasnye Holmy”.

 

Interior

Stylish and exquisite interior with colonial motives, high panoramic windows draped with light curtains, beautiful views to the embankment make a strong impression of exquisiteness and cosy comfort at the same time. It invites you to sit in one of the cream-colored armchairs at a table made of dark wood and contemplate designer’s decisions of the place: crocodile skin columns, delicate crystal chandeliers and wonderful mirrors.

 

Capacity

Cafe “Volna” occupies 2 floors. The first floor includes three small rooms for 120 people, one of them is non-smoking. On the second floor there is a calm and quiet room for 32 people with a magnificent view to the Moscow-river.   

 

Menu

The specialty of the cafe “Volna” is its author cuisine in European style presented by our chef. The menu includes French and Japanese dishes for gourmets who keep up with the world gastronomic tendencies, and the dishes for people with more traditional but rather demanding tastes who first of all pay attention to the quality and benefits of the products. Warm salad Saint-Germain with shrimps and scallops, salmon “Belle-vue”, starlet baked on coals, scallops in “Beurre blanc” sauce with mashed potatoes and white mushrooms – all these dishes won’t let you remain indifferent.

 

Desserts presented in the menu of “Volna” cafe will definitely conquer the avid admirers of home cuisine. We recommend you to pay attention to “Napoleon” cake with “Chantilly” cream and “New York” cheese cake with strawberry sauce.
