Kill Bill Sushi-Bar
For everyone who loves cult films and Japanese cuisine! ”KILL BILL” is a new sushi-bar situated in the very center of Moscow near Red Square in “Gallery Moscow” Trade Center. Form creators of such restaurants as “TAJJ MAHAL”, YOKO and “KOI”, the forth place is called “KILL BILL”.
The concept of this establishment is defined by the name. At the entrance the guests are welcomed by waitresses dressed as Japanese school-girls, but in general context they look more like the fans of Tarantino’s GoGo Yubari. Some of the staff is dressed in the famous yellow-black suit of Beatrix Kido. The next thing that you’ll definitely notice is the green sansevieria stockade. This plant’s tongues maintain the “Kill Bill” concept better than anything. Planted in a row they fulfill several functions: air cleaning, space zoning and bringing special color to the interior. The musical accompaniment is, of course, soundtracks from the first and the second part of “Kill Bill” films. Swords, figures, a snapshot from the movie transferred to the café’s wall by an artist – all this creates intense but calm and pleasant atmosphere. High quality and expensive furniture made by order and brought here from Japan plays not the last role in the restaurant.
The café’s customers are mostly workers of nearby offices, numerous tourists, brand shop visitors and some students as well. This place presents itself as a democratic but at the same time unique establishment. It’s connected, first of all, with the dishes of the author Japanese cuisine.
Our young, forward-minded and skillful chef Evgeniy Pak, the sub-chef of the famous Yoko restaurant, has created for “Kill Bill” a great variety of interesting salads, original sauces and about 20 kinds of rolls, the most popular of which is the “Volcano”– warm roll covered with salmon and scallop sauce. The classical dishes are presented here in different variants: “Philadelphia” with tuna or crab, “Alaska” with eel or salmon and so on. The menu also includes halal meat (beef, veal, duck, chicken) and a great range of seafood (mussels, shellfish, scallop, octopus, Japanese squid, stonebass, crab meat, tuna back, yellowtail). Product quality and dishes look are carefully treated here. The food is served on original plates in the form of sea-shells. There are also business lunches and offers for corporate events at different prices and with various tendencies – Japanese, vegetarian, meat. Unique desserts are created by the pastry-chef of Yoko restaurant.
Eastern pacification and harmony will come to you with a cup of real Japanese tea with fresh fruits, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry. From 20 kinds of this drink the most popular are cold teas that already have their admirers. In “Kill Bill” you can also try coffee with different syrups, ginger drinks, tap beer, milk-shakes and homemade lemonades the most peculiar of which is the mandarin.
