The second component of the unusual name – Carlson, is explained very easily. The new restaurant, as well as the beloved character from our childhood, “lives” on the roof. But the only difference between them consists in that the restaurant “lives” on the roof of the modern business center Central City Tower which is located in Ovchinnikovskaya embankment where you can see wonderful panoramic views of Kremlin, Moscow River, Zamoskvorechye and other beautiful places of the city.

 

The Moscow Carlson like his Scandinavian namesake is rather attracted to food, that’s exactly why there are pots and other kinds of containers for keeping jam and other delicacies put everywhere in the restaurant. The theme of “the most charming man in his most productive prime” is developed in the interior, menu and even the waiters’ uniform creating the atmosphere of home cosiness and hospitality.

 

If Carlson is responsible for the cosiness and friendly atmosphere of the place, no less bright personality is in charge of the food. Giacomo Lombardi cooks genuine Italian dishes, very simple and delicious that are so beloved in Moscow.
