Time Out Бар
The bar is located on the 12thand 13th floors of the hotel “Pekin”.
The concept of the bar list works like clock: the mix-guy Alexander Kan who is one of co-owners of the bar has prepared alco-schedule. Breakfast is the drinks that help to survive after yesterday fun: “Bull kick” (vodka with lemon and spices based on cold beef broth) or Bloody Masha (the Russian version of “Bloody Mary”) with molecular horseradish mousse.
Appetizing Time: appetite comes not during the meal but after taking an aperitif. There is a nonalcoholic “Aperitif cocktail” with the same name (tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, a bit of yogurt, sauce, spices) and Sunny Rabbit (vodka, seaberry, carrots, celery, lemon, honey) which is served on a round mirror to send “sunny bunnies”.
Cocktails with tea are served in tea pots at traditional hour (Five O’clok Tea) and poured in cups: Samovar Kalinka Malinka (vodka, high cranberry, raspberry, honey, green tea, birch juice, lemon juice).
Sundowning Time. There is a wonderful view on sunset from Time Out Bar. It’s the time of long drinks. At twilight Violet Time comes – it’s a time of short and stronger drinks, such as Naomi” (“Black Russian”) or “Isaev” (“Our response to James Bond”).
